Ms. Kathryn Hulleman, an undergraduate student from Earlham College, visited and interned at SCCB from June 4 to July 27. During her stay she communicated with graduate students and postdocs on various research topics. She studied the techniques of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation, agroinfiltration, BCA assay, and creation of a recombinant vectors under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Hongxia Wang and Yingying Zhong. She also attended several group seminar and lectures. Her visit promotes further cooperation and interaction between international universities and research units.
