Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Gruissem from ETH Zurich visited SIPPE from Nov. 7th to 10th, 2009. Dr. Wilhelm Gruissem is the Guest Professor of SIPPE and the SCCB Coordinator from Swiss side. As the Editor-in-Chief of Plant Molecular Biology, he is a well-known plant molecular biologist. In the morning of Nov. 9, he gave an excellent seminar entitled “Improving rice for human nutrition and health” and then answered the questions from audiences. In the afternoon, SCCB members presented the progression of research projects and then made intensive bilateral exchanges with him. He also visited the laboratory and greenhouse.
