The delegation from SCCB led by Prof. Peng Zhang visited Boshan Station of Chinese Cassava Agro-technology Research System from August 8 to 11, 2016. In the Institute of Tropical and Sub-tropical Cash Crops, Yunnan Academy ofAgricultural Sciences, Vice Director Guanghua Liu introduced his team and general information of the institute. Prof. Peng Zhang gave a lecture entitled "Advances in molecular improvement of cassava" and answered the questions from participants. Then they visited the center laboratory in the institute and LujiangbaField Experimental Station.

During the visit, both sides exchanged in-depth views and reached a bilateral cooperation agreementto complement one another. The intensified collaboration includes evaluation and application of cassava germplasms, personnel training and research station construction etc.These activities promote the exchange and collaboration between the two members of CCARS to further strengthen the docking between laboratory and station.
