The delegation from Baoshan Station of Chinese Cassava Agro-technology Research System (CCARS) visited SCCB from June 19 to 20, 2018. During the visit, Prof. Peng Zhang and Vice Director Guanghua Liu intensively exchanged the views for further collaboration, including young researcher training and exchange, joint project applications and exploration of germplasm resources, and new cassava cultivar registration. Both sides will take the advantages of fundamental research in SCCB to foster talents cultivation and joint project applications. Based on the eco-geological condition and resources in Baoshan, Baoshan station will make systemic evaluation of agronomic traits cassava germplasms from SCCB, and screen the elite cultivars. This visit not only intensify bilateral collaborations but also strengthen the docking between laboratory and station in CCARS.
