On May 17, 2015, The teachers Xiuqiong Li and Xiumei Fu, from Hainan Key Laboratory for Sustainable Utilization of Tropical Bioresource, College of agriculture Hainan University, joined our center for ten days training. Supervised by assistants Mrs. Qiuxiang Ma, Dr. Ruan will learn the essential techniques of cassava tissue culture and genetic transformation, including somatic embrygenesis, embryogenic suspension culturing and Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation. This training strengthened the bilateral collaboration between SCCB and Hainan Key Laboratory for Sustainable Utilization of Tropical Bioresource, College of agriculture Hainan University.
