From May 1, 2016 to January 6, 2017, Tailing Jiang from Institute of Tropical and Subtropical Cash Crops, YAAS, joined our center for leaning physiological and biochemical experiments of cassava. Supported by Dr. Peng Zhang, head of the center, and Ph.D. Qiuxiang Ma, Wenzhi Zhou, Weijuan Fan and other members of center, she mainly learned the Cassava tissue culture, the determination of starch properties in cassava, paraffin embedding slice technique and so on. As a cooperative unit of our center, the Institute of Tropical and Subtropical Cash Crops had accumulated a lot of experience in screening of cassava varieties and promotion of high-efficiency cultivation techniques in recent years. This training strengthened the bilateral collaboration between SCCB and Institute of Tropical and Subtropical Cash Crops, YAAS.
