The annual evaluation meeting of National Technological System of Cassava Industrialization (NTSCI) was held at Guangzhou from January 5 to 8, 2010. More than 60 members, including scientists of different research laboratories and agents of different research stations, participated the event. Accompanied by Dr. Xiaoguang Duan, Prof. Peng Zhang from SCCB joined the meeting. On the meeting, the scientists of different research laboratories and agents of different research stations reported their annual progress and examined other teams’ performances. Prof. Peng Zhang presented the progress of cassava genetic engineering from Genetic Breeding Laboratory, which was received an excellent performance rating in the evaluation. Participants also discussed the NTSCI development report 2009 and work plan for 2010.
