The Extended Executive Committee Meeting of Chinese Cassava Agro-technology Research System (CCARS) was successfully held in Danzhou, Hainan Island on May 6-8, 2016. On the meeting, the participants discussed and exchanged the key issues related to the 13th Five-Year-Plan, including disseminating of main missions, implementing the 2016 assignments, optimizing efficient operational mechanism of collaborative innovation, and creating the ‘new normal’ for cultural and academic exchanges.
