The annual evaluation meeting of Chinese Cassava Agro-industrial Research System (CCARS) was successfully held in Yunnan Institute of tropical Crops from January 22 to 25, 2018. Leaders of Ministry of Agriculture attended the annual event and delivered the opening address. The Principle Investigator, the Scientists of different research laboratories and Agents of different research stations reported their achievements and shared the research progresses in 2017. The Executive Committee panel intensively discussed the work tasks and deployed tasks planning in the following year. The annual meeting fully showed the achievements of CCARS and enhanced the cohesion in the members of CCARS, and it would improve the multilateral cooperation and communication among different research laboratories and stations.

More than 100 participants attended the annual event, including the Scientists of different research laboratories and Agents of different research stations, the group members and some representatives of entrepreneur. Prof. Peng Zhang from SCCB, together with Dr Qiuxiang Ma attended the event.
