Profs. Jun Li and Zhangyou Shen, the scientists of research laboratories of Chinese Cassava Agri-technology Research System (CCARS) visited SCCB on 4 November, 2018. During the visit, Prof. Peng Zhang and the visitors intensively discussed the preservation problems of cassava storage roots and stems under cold condition, and exchanged in-depth views on the current situation and problems of cassava cultivation related to the trends and perspectives of cassava industry in Guangxi. Taking the advantages of technology in SCCB and cassava germplasm in Guangxi, both sides have agreed to collaborate on talents cultivation and exchanges in the future. Later, Profs. Li and Shen also visited the laboratory and greenhouse. This visit promotes the exchange and collaboration among the members of CCARS, which can further strengthen the docking among laboratories.
