Prof. Zhang Peng and Dr. Ma Qiuxiang visited Nanchang Research Station of CCARS in Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences on July 7, 2019. Accompanied by Prof. Yuan Zhanqi and Dr. Lin Hongxin, they visited the Jiangxi Yufan Bioenergy Company, which is building a plant for 100,000 tons bioethanol production each year. Then, they surveyed the current situations of cassava industrialization in Dongxiang district, Fushun city, and intensively communicated with the agents from local technology advising station and farmers to get the first-hand information on cassava planting, intercropping and the farmers’ income. Finally they visited the experimental field of Nanchang Research Station.

The exchange had gotten valuable information of cassava planting and production through investigating regional cassava industrialization, which could give the guideline for the following cassava fundamental research. This visit will promote the collaboration and communication between research laboratory and station.
