On the morning of April 1st, the "Beading Chain and Technology Integration: High-quality Development Summit Forum of Cassava Industry Chain" jointly organized by the National Cassava Industry Technology System, South China Agricultural University and Guangzhou National Modern Agricultural Industry Science and Technology Innovation Center was held in Guangzhou National Modern Agricultural Industry Science and Technology Innovation Center. Nearly 150 experts and scholars from 35 universities and research institutes across the country, representatives of 15 enterprises and cooperatives attended the conference.

In the afternoon, the 2023 kick-off meeting of the Cassava Agro-technology Research System was held, and nearly 100 members who are working on cassava, moringa, coffee, pepper and jackfruit from all over the country attended the meeting, and Prof. Zhang Peng and Ass. Prof. Ma Qiuxiang of our center attended the meeting. Scientists and station agencies presented their annual work plan and visited the field demonstration of mechanized cassava planting in Wengyuan.
